Equipment Camp Stove Large cooking pot with Lid (6 - 8 quarts)
Ingredients 3 Cans of Chicken Breast in Water (about 12.5 oz.) 1 Can Condensed Tomato Soup 2 Cups Rice 1 Tbs Grubmasters Secret Spice Blend 1 tsp chili powder 1 tsp salt other spices, as desired (salt & pepper) 4 Cans of water
Instructions (At Home)
Mix Rice and seasoning in a gallon freezer bag (careful to remove the air)
Set aside Chicken and Tomato Soup
Bag the dry ingredients bag and canned item together and label based on the meal this is for.
Instructions (In Camp)
In a large pot add:
Tomato Soup
3 Cans of water (from the empty soup can)
Empty water from cans of chicken (reserving the chicken)
Stir so everything is incorporated
Add dry ingredients bag
Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally (to prevent sticking)
Once boiling, reduce to low and cover with lid
Cook for 20 minutes
Options:
The above recipe is made in one pot, the chicken can be cooked separately and added to the rice.
