HMWOutdoors Scholarship Opportunties

Leadership Training Scholarship 

The HMWOutdoors Leadership Scholarship Program is an extension of our mission to enable 10 Million Youth by December 31st, 2027 to make meaningful connections to and in the natural world that facilitate internal growth and environmental awareness.

To that end, we are asking for your help, because why should we keep all the fun to ourselves.  Every youth deserves a trained leader and leadership team.  To do our part,we are accepting applications for a limited number of scholarships for adults and youth to attend leadership and skills training.

Some of the training we support include:

• Wood Badge
• Girl Scout outdoor leader training
• NYLT
• NAYLT
• Wilderness First Aid
• Student Outdoor Education Conferences
• etc..

Our scholarships cover up to 1/2 the cost of registration.

We are really excited to offer another means of supporting youth make meaningful connections to the natural world.

How to apply:

Send us an email that contains:

1. Full Name
2. Describe the training you plan to apply the funds toward.
3. Describe how having this training, will enable you to help your youth participants make meaningful connections to the natural world, to facilitate internal growth and environmental awareness.
4. Describe the number of youth that will be impacted in the next 5 years, because you attended this training.
5. Tell us about the organization you support.
6. Tell us about yourself, your goals and mission.  What makes you, you.
